Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Our Lower Elementary program builds strong foundations through a blend of proven curriculum and joyful traditions. Students grow their reading and writing skills through Rooted in Reading and Reader’s & Writer’s Workshop, supported by a phonics program combining Fundations and standards-based instruction. Math comes to life with Eureka Math and hands-on supplements, while Social Studies and Science are explored through engaging, standards-based learning and Mystery Science. Community is central to Sycamore Community School as students connect through K–2 cross-age reading and celebrate milestones together, like our beloved 100th Day of School.
