Mrs. Painter is a passionate and enthusiastic educator originally from Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City and brings six years of experience teaching grades 3 through 6 in Oklahoma, Illinois, and California. She is excited to continue her journey at Sycamore, building on a wonderful year teaching fourth grade and supporting her students’ growth.

In the classroom, Mrs. Painter strives to create a welcoming, engaging environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to do their best. She believes that when children feel supported and challenged, they can achieve incredible growth academically and personally. She encourages curiosity, perseverance, and a growth mindset in all her students.

When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Painter enjoys crocheting, baking, reading, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her husband and their four pets, a dog and three cats.
